The Hilleberg Akto is a solo tent. It is spacious and ultra light with all season capabilities. Attributes Of The Hilleberg Akto
The Hilleberg Akto is an easy solo tent to set. It can be pitched in a very short time. It is a tunnel style tent that comes with a linked inner and outer tent design.
The inner and outer linked tent design gives the Akto great stability.
When set up the Hilleberg Akto will allow you full sitting height in the centre of the tent. Extra height is gained from the strong and sturdy fibreglass tent poles which are located in the corners of the outer tent. Many solo tents on the market today are cramped and barely large enough giving a claustrophobic feel. Not the Akto.
Pitching the Hilleberg Akto can be done with only 4 tent pegs. One for each corner guy ropes. If you need more stability than that there are an additional 6 spots for tent pegs. An extra guy line can also be applied to the vent hood at the front of the tent.
The Hilleberg Akto has a very reliable and efficient ventilation system. It does not matter on the weather conditions, the ventilation system will always be active. This is because the inner tent material is of a breathable material. The front vent in the tent is incorporated in to the door and is fully adjustable for you. When you check out the Akto thoroughly you will also see that there are vents situated at both ends of the tent. These vents are protected by an overhang and have zipper closure so you can adjust them accordingly. The inner tent door also has a mesh panel in the top half of it, which again is protected by a fabric panel.
The inner tent of the Akto can be used separately if you wish. Also you can remove the inner tent and replace it with the Akto Mesh inner tent if you want that option.
